A few practical things to do this week, in the order I’d suggest them:
Get your child’s Medicaid status confirmed. If you’re already enrolled, find your Medicaid ID. If
you’re not, ask the hospital social worker about the Katie Beckett Deeming Waiver — it ignores

Save the contact info for a GAPP-approved nursing agency — like ours — even if you’re not
ready to talk yet. GAPP referrals require a Medicaid-approved agency to submit prior
authorization, so having one identified saves weeks later.
